A Walthamstow park played host to the borough's biggest garden party over the weekend.
Huge crowds gathered all-day at Lloyd Park on Saturday and Sunday for the Walthamstow Garden Party, a celebration organised by the council in conjunction with the Barbican Centre and Create London.
Over 33,700 revellers made the most of the two-stage festival by bringing family picnics and relaxing in the sunshine as UK and international acts took to the stage.
By mid-afternoon on both days, the festival had reached capacity and long queues were seen snaking around the park entrance into nearby residential streets.
There was a range of musical talent on show from recognised bands such as the Brand New Heavies and the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain to Ivory Coast reggae star Tiken Jah Fakoly and the Japiur Kawa Brass Band from India.
As the festival got underway, Barbican and Create London entertained crowds with theatrical and dance performances by Blue Boy Entertainment, Bollywood Vibes and the Gravity Circus Centre.
Parents looking to relax and keep their children entertained could watch their children have fun in a special under 5s garden party or chill out in the soul DJ's picnic zone.
Stalls and activities over the weekend consisted of cycling, bowling and local brands including the E17 Designers Market and the Real Food Festival tent.
A massive clean-up is now underway by the council's waste management team.
