A MARKETING consultant from Loughton will be among the 16 contenders vying for a position under Sir Alan Sugar when the new series of The Apprentice hits the screen next week.
Tre Azam, 27, describes himself as an opinionated maverick who knows what he wants and is determined to get it.
He started work at the age of 10 building computers in his dad's factory and by the age of 17 was already helping run the family software business in Europe and Asia.
A serious car accident left him in a wheelchair when he was in his teens, but he is now fully recovered.
He said: "I've applied for The Apprentice because it will give me the opportunity to put myself up against some of the best in the country."
The new series of The Apprentice starts next Wednesday March 28 at 9pm on BBC1.
