Police have released an efit of a man they want to identify in connection with the attempted robbery of a schoolboy.
The 12-year-old victim was walking home from school along Tendring Road, Between Nazeing and Harlow, at 3.45pm on June 17 when a man sitting near a bus stop approached him from behind.
The suspect unzipped the boy’s rucksack and demanded his phone and keys.
The victim refused and ran off into Kingsland.
He was followed by the suspect, but managed to get away.
Police want to trace the man in the efit, who was aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 11ins tall and a skinny build.
He wore black leather gloves, a navy blue hooded top with a white letter T on the back, ripped black trousers and black shoes.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Harlow CID on 101.
