Simulating the City
Three-dimensional game cities are neither static environments nor stationary views. They are experienced through movement, action, play and immersion. In this talk, director of the Interactive Architecture Lab Ruairi Glynn, will be joined a panel of experts who will explore how video games can be used to investigate and enhance our concept of city and space.

East-West Dialogues
A musical journey from London to Kolkata. Paul Nash
Uncover the surreal and mystical side of English landscapes through one of the most distinctive British painters. Paul Nash was fascinated with Britain’s ancient past and spent time in southern England exploring the downs and coastal areas. Featuring a lifetime’s work from his earliest drawings through to his iconic World War Two paintings, this exhibition reveals Nash’s importance to British modern art in the most significant show of his work for a generation.

The Epicurean London

The Hotel Cerise
Michigan, USA. 2016. As America’s first black president ends his eight years in office, Anita Mountjoy risks losing her family’s beloved hotel and cherry orchard, where Martin Luther King rested and Miles Davis played. Are the family keepers of this proud history, or simply trapped by its ghosts? Can ‘the audacity of hope’ survive? Bonnie Greer’s new play is set in and around the Hotel Cerise – a famous retreat for middle class black people during the time of segregation. See feature on page 37.
