A MAN with a knife was arrested after police found him with it near a quiet village green.
Redbridge police officers on patrol in Wanstead came across the man in Cambridge Park, near George Green at around 4.35pm (October 31).
He was arrested on suspicion of posession of an offensive weapon and is still in custody at an east London police station.
