REDBRIDGE Ladies FC are already recruiting for next season. This Saturday, June 30, the club is holding an open day for girls aged from five to 11 where they can try football for the first time or, if more experienced, train with one of the junior teams.
Trials for next season's U13s, U15s, U17s and ladies teams will also be held at the open day on Ashton Playing Fields, Woodford Bridge. Places are limited so call Dave Smith on 07789 425500 to confirm a place.
Ryan FC held its traditional end of season presentation evening at Chingford Rugby Club to celebrate all the junior members of the club in the past season.
The club now consists of over 21 teams and had a special guest, James Alexandrou, who played Martin Fowler in EastEnders, to present the trophies.
Ryan FC was also in action not only in their own summer tournament but other junion soccer festivals.
With over 180 teams competing, from all leagues in Essex London, Middlesex and Hertfordshire, the Ryan tournament was a successful day for the club. Ryan's U6 and U7 teams won their respective competitions. Ryan are now one of the biggest clubs in Waltham Forest.
The club is starting trials for the forthcoming season and new players are invited.
Goalkeeping sessions are being introduced with coaching from FA Level Two coaches.
Ilford Colts Football Club seek an U13 keeper for their Highams Park/Woodford-based club to play next season in the U13 Echo Sunday League. For more information call Mick on 07939 540615 Belmont Juniors are looking for players for their U11 team for next season.
Boys should be currently in school Year Six. Training is on Tuesdays in Woodford. Call Paul on 07889-226980. Develop FC want a keeper, who is currently playing at U11 level.
