More than 20 firefighters were called after a blaze broke out at a car breakers yard.
Crews were called to the yard, in Upton Lane, Forest Gate, at around 1am this morning (Wednesday, March 1).
They found a two storey unit had caught fire. It was brought under control by 2.10am.
Part of the ground floor and the first floor of the unit were damaged by the blaze.
Fire crews from Stratford, Leytonstone, Plaistow and East Ham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the blaze is believed to be accidental.
