A 17-year-old boy has died after being stabbed.

The teenager was found with a serious stab wound in Walthamstow High Street at around 11.30pm last night (Sunday, May 7).

He was taken to hospital by ambulance and died shortly after. Next of kin have been informed.

Formal identification has yet to take place.

Police have made no arrests as part of the murder investigation.
