A “day of community celebration” is returning to Walthamstow Village.
The Village Festival is making its long awaited return on Saturday (September 2) from midday to 6pm.
The free-to-attend fun will take over Orford Road from The Nag’s Head all the way round to the junction with East Avenue.
It will feature street food, two music stages, arts and crafts and a bouncy castle in a special children’s area.
Event organisers, the Waltham Forest Community Hub, are expecting upwards of 50 stalls lining the street on the day, with another 20 inside the Asian Centre Building.
For information on how to get involved, contact walthamstowfestival@gmail.com, or phone 0208 223 0707.
