THERE are two weeks left to have your say on multimillion pound council proposals that could transform where you live.
Redbridge’s population is set to explode over the next 10 years and with the arrival of Crossrail in Ilford, the council wants to make sure it is maximising the borough’s potential for investment and growth.
Plans to build 18,500 new homes across 200 sites and create 5,000 new jobs by 2030 have been set out in the Redbridge Local Plan.
But council bosses have also drawn up an economic growth strategy 2017-2027 to ensure the area is the best it can be for business, transport, and leisure facilities.
To give your feedback on the proposals, which are set to transform town centres like South Woodford, Ilford, and Gants Hill, you can fill out a questionnaire or attend a stakeholder meeting.
The survey takes 10 minutes to complete and can be done online.
Businesses, residents, andother stakeholders can book places at the meeting on September 1 at Redbridge College Little in Heath by emailing Julie.khan@redbridge.gov.uk or jayne.jeffries@redbridge.gov.uk.
Consultation closes on September 4 before the straegy goes back to cabinet in October.
