WEST Ham United's junior girls began pre season training as they aim to repeat their successes of last season in the Essex Girls League.
The U16s and U14s were double League and Cup winners last season, the U12s were League Champions and Cup runners up while the U11s were runners up in their section.
Hammers U12 manager Angela Murphy said after the first night of training: "It was great to be back tonight, we have a great team spirit and a fantastic group of girls who have moved up with me from last season's U11's.
"We were second in our League last season and I feel that we have a great chance of going one step better but we are desperately short of a goalkeeper.
"With the size of West Ham's fan base you would think that there was a girl out there who want to wear the shirt every Sunday?"
Young keepers in Years Six or Seven next term should contact Angela on 07771 553065.
