A second person has been charged in connection with the murder of a young man who died in a double stabbing.
Moses Mayele, 23, was stabbed to death in Manford Way, Hainault, on Friday, October 12.
Two men, aged 22 and 19, have been charged in connection with the murder and attempted murder which left a second victim with injuries.
It comes as detectives renewed their appeal for a man who may have walked past the suspects on the night of the crime.
Hours after the incident, three males, one who was carrying a plastic petrol can, made their way down Lord Avenue in Ilford.
Police believe they were on their way to burn the stolen black Volkswagen Golf they had used hours earlier. It was later found burnt out in nearby Park View Gardens.
At around 3.45am the following morning a man wearing white trainers passed the group in Lord Avenue, coming from the direction of Herent Drive.
Officers are keen to speak to him and are urging him to get in touch and call the incident room on 020 83451570 without delay.
A 22-year-old man arrested as part of the investigation has been bailed and a 23-year-old man who was arrested has been released under investigation.
