A group of primary school pupils stepped back in time to learn about prehistoric Britain.
Year 3 students at Cooks Spinney Primary Academy, in Harlow, worked with Gripping History to delve deeper into the Iron Age, Bronze Age and Stone Age.
Youngsters got to dress up and learn about the important dates on the timeline and how they built houses more than 2,000 years ago.
Cooks Spinney Primary Academy pupils also learned how people from the Iron Age hunted for food and built houses
Students also got to learn about the tools people used to grind grains into flour and how they hunted for food.
Teacher Hannah Cruse said: "Gripping History brought along all the artefacts and materials needed to ensure the children not only learnt a lot about prehistory, but were engaged and able to have a hands-on experience.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed it."
