The second official Rotary East London and Essex DisAbility Games are to be held later this year.
Last year, around 60 competitors took part in the first ever event at Ongar Leisure Centre.
The free athletic activities were held at Ongar Leisure Centre which were sponsored by seventeen local Rotary Clubs, including Redbridge, Woodford, Roding and Epping, and Epping Forest District Council.
Indoor activities will include boccia, bowls, table tennis, darts, bagatelle, stick ball, quoits, wheelchair slalom, new age curling and several more challenges.
The games will be open be opened by Paralympian Anne Wafula Strike, who also opened this event last year.
Medals will be awarded to the first three places in each event and certificates will be given to all participants
All activities are for 18’s plus and entrance will be completely free of charge, although competitors should register in advance.
MP Wes Streeting, Deputy Lieutenant of Essex Michael Chapman. Chairman of Epping Forest District Council, councillor Richard Bassett, will also be in attendance.
The Rotary East London & Essex Disability Games will be held at the Ongar Leisure Centre on Sunday, May 17.
