A Turkish barbecue restaurant has announced they will be delivering 1,000 meals a day for free to NHS workers working around the clock amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Sheesh on High Road, Chigwell, broke the news on their social media pages today (Monday, March 23).
The building of the high-dining eatery owned by business magnate Lord Sugar, began operating a takeaway-only service to customers after Government announced all bars, cafes and restaurants were to close on Friday, March 20.
Free delivery is also extended to all Essex residents.
In a post on Instagram, Sheesh said: "Due to health and safety factors there will be no more NHS Workers collecting food from Sheesh.
"From now on we will be delivering 1,000 meals a day to all the key workers at the hospitals.
"We will cover as many hospitals as we can. Thank you."
