A man has been charged with the murder of two men at a house in east London.
Two Lithuanian men - Dainius Kulboka and Jonas Semenas – died after they were found with stab injuries at the house in Tavistock Gardens, Ilford, on Sunday (January 10) near 4.30am.
Vytautas Garmus, 51, of Prince Regent Lane in Canning Town, has since been charged following the double murder. He is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (January 13).
Metropolitan Police has identified Garmus as a Georgian national.
Post-mortem examinations at East Ham mortuary on Tuesday (January 12) confirmed the cause of death as stab injuries.
A 28-year-old woman was also found injured at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police said a Taser was discharged during the arrest. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries and then taken into police custody.
She was later released and remains under investigation, the Met said.
