We are able to enjoy a trip to a pub once again now lockdown restrictions have eased but the choice of where to pop for a pint has reduced over the years.
Many of the pubs we remember from our younger days have long since closed down and the number open is, sadly, expected to continue to decrease nationwide.
The Lost Pubs Project archives the decline of the English pub on its website closedpubs.co.uk and this week we take a look back at some of those that have pulled their final pints in Leyton.
In addition to the Oliver Twist at the top of the page, here are seven more pubs in Leyton that have closed their doors permanently.
