A charity that has provided a lifeline for so many people during the pandemic is now raising money to help give children the right start to a school year.
3food4u has set up 3SchoolSupplies4U to provide school supplies to those children in need in the community.
Founder Pesh Kapasiawala said: “Having the right school supplies is essential for starting the new school year with confidence and helping children thrive in education.
“We are raising money to provide free school supplies to students providing everything needed for the new school year for those that need it most in our community.
“We want to help those children concentrate on getting the best education they can without worrying about whether they have paper to write on or a school bag to carry it in. But we need your help for 3SchoolSupplies4U.
“All donations will be used to provide school supplies to those in need in the community.”

3food4u is also asking people to vote for it in the Tesco community grant voting scheme which is open until September 30.
The charity is in most of the firm’s stores in Essex including Epping, Waltham Abbey and Cheshunt.
For each store the winners gets £1,500, there is £1,000 for second place and £500 for third, so this money could provide another boost to the community foodbank and its users.
3food4u offers free groceries, clothes and essentials without assessment or referral to anyone that needs it, treating and supporting people humanely with dignity and respect.
