A man has been stabbed to death in a residential road in Chingford.
The Metropolitan Police says it was called at 6.20pm on Monday, August 9, to reports of a disturbance in Churchill Terrace.
Officers attended along with paramedics and found a 45-year-old man with stab injuries.
Despite treatment, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
