A father-of-three was in his pyjamas when he found out he'd won a £70,000 cash-and-car prize after buying a 90p ticket from an online competition company.
Best of the Best’s Christian Williams turned up at Mohammed Idrisnur's front door to let him know he’d won a new Honda e Advance from the weekly Dream Car competition.
Mr Idrisnur said: “I knew who Christian was as soon as I saw him - I’ve been playing BOTB for almost a year and watch all the winners’ videos. I couldn’t believe it!”
The 37-year-old, who works in banking, said he played for the Honda because he wanted an electric city car.
He continued: “I love Honda and the fact it’s electric is a win-win for us as we live in London.”
A well as winning the £30,000 car he also found £40,000 in cash waiting for him in the boot.
The dad-of-three added: “I’m sure a lot of it will go to the family and upgrading the house - I’ll need to keep the rest and have a think!”
Mohammed is father to Abdul, 8, Amal, 4, Rahaf, 2, and lives with his wife Aysha, 33, in Walthamstow.
Mr Williams, who surprises winners every week, said: “Mohammed played for an awesome car which is perfect for driving around the city.
“He seems like a lovely guy with a great family and I am super happy for them. Massive congratulations again, Mohammed!”
The company BOTB was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and hands over the keys to two cars each week.
