A man has been charged by police with the murder of a 32-year-old man.
Abdi Khadar Adan died after he was found with stab injuries in Lea Bridge Road in Leyton at around 4.30pm on Sunday August 22.
The victim was taken to hospital where he later died. A post-mortem examination on Tuesday confirmed the cause of death as a stab injury.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's specialist crime command have been investigating the incident.
The Met has confirmed it has charged a man in connection with Mr Khadar Adan's death.
- Kieran McHugh, 30, of Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, has been charged with murder. He is due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court today (August 25).
