Detectives investigating the death of a man in Leyton have charged a second man with murder.
Abdi Khadar Adan died in hospital after he was stabbed in Lea Bridge Road at around 4.30pn on Sunday August 22.
A post-examination held on August 24 confirmed the cause of death for the 32-year-old as a stab injury.
Over the last few days, officers from the Metropolitan Police's specialist crime command have been investigating the incident.
Two people have been charged by police.
- Mahi Noor, 23, of Lea Bridge Road, E10 was arrested on August 25 on suspicion of murder. On August 26, he was charged with murder. He was remanded in police custody and appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 27. He will next appear in custody at the Old Bailey on September 1.
- Kieran McHugh, 30, of Lea Bridge Road, E10, was previously charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody.
