A mother and children are pictured above, perhaps ready to cross a very quiet Station Road, Chingford, with an early perambulator in c1910.
The shops behind them were James Block at 116 selling confectionery and teas, and 118 was A Bishop (toy merchant and tobacconists).
By 1931 the shop was occupied by Victoria Wine Company.
Today the shop is an estate agent.
