A Walthamstow mall is giving local green businesses the opportunity to promote themselves for free as part of Great Big Green Week, a national celebration of action on climate change.
The week celebrated from18-26 September will see thousands of events by communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces.
The Mall in Selborne Road is offering local, green-conscious businesses a promotional space in The Mall for a week, free of charge so that they can advertise their sustainable products or share their eco mission.
Community Marketing Manager, Richard Jones said: “There are lots of brilliant local, green businesses out there and we want to give them a free platform to promote their products to the Walthamstow community, while also raising awareness of Great Big Green Week. We’d like to encourage our guests to think more sustainably and choose products that are kinder to our planet, and I can’t think of a better time to do this,”
A Great Big Green Week spokesperson said: “We are seeing the impacts of extreme weather events caused by climate change on the people and places we love. The time is now to do everything we can to protect them."
Any company that would like to take part in Great Big Green Week at The Mall must be a registered business, have public liability insurance and be available from 18-26 September. To get involved contact Richard.jones@themall.co.uk
