- Motorists have continued to queue at East London petrol stations for a fifth day this week as fears over fuel shortages continue.
- Across the county, there are huge queues for petrol stations as motorists try to fill up despite repeated warnings there is no need to panic buy- stressing there is enough petrol.
- George Eustice, Environment Secretary, said there was not a shortage of fuel and called on motorists to stop “panic buying” petrol and return to their normal pattern of purchasing.
