We have been looking back at some of the pubs that have been lost over the years in the Guardian's areas throughout this summer.
Having featured some of those pubs that have pulled their final pints in Leyton, Leytonstone, Wanstead and Walthamstow, it is now the turn of Chingford and Highams Park.
The Lost Pubs Project archives the decline of the English pub and using pictures and information sourced from its website www.closedpubs.co.uk, this page shows four six pubs in the Chingford area that closed their doors for one last time in the past.
The Fountain in Sewardstone Road was converted into a McDonalds
