National Curry week takes place from the 4 to 10 October, following a difficult year the week aims to get people talking about curry instead of Covid.
The borough has a wide selection of Indian restaurants.

Jaipur of Chigwell located at 734 Chigwell Road, Woodford. A fine Indian cuisine that offers dining in restaurant, take-away and external catering services to Chigwell, Woodford, Woodford Bridge and surrounding areas. They are rated 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor along with some excellent reviews.
E-Four Indian Fusion at 102 Station Road, Chingford. They specialise in providing food to the customer’s taste with mild, medium, hot, spicy and extra spicy options. E Four is a gateway to the real flavour of the East, rich in aroma and spices, diverse in colour and texture. They are rated five stars on TripAdvisor.
