A home care provider based in Redbridge, Epping and Harlow have marked Professional Care Workers Week by rewarding their team with ‘thank you’ pamper packs and complimentary lunches.
Professional Care Workers Week is an annual event that has been run by The Care Workers’ Charity for the past two years and carries great significance.
It provides a platform for people to share best practice, their experiences, and have discussions about the future of social care, workforce maintenance and growth, and technologies in the sector.
Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow specialise in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes.
In celebration of this year’s awareness week, Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow have been rewarded in appreciation of their efforts throughout the pandemic.
Now, following one of the most difficult moments for those within the care sector, the team have been able to find a minute in between care visits to be congratulated and honoured for all their hard work.
Speaking on her gift, Karin Venter, Senior Home Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow, said: “It was so nice to receive this recognition and see my fellow carers!”
Fiona Goff, Office Manager, added: “Our team have worked incredibly hard this past year, and beyond! They continue to amaze us, providing exceptional care to our customers and doing anything and everything to support them.
“It’s great that we have occasions to celebrate these individuals and commemorate their great work. I hope everybody enjoyed the pamper packs and lunch, you deserve it!”
