Has your little angel or shepherd featured in a school nativity this year? Have they tucked into their Christmas dinner yet? Or been busy making decorations in the classroom?
Don’t miss tomorrow's Guardian to see if they feature in our bumper 16-page Christmas in the Classroom picture supplement.
The pandemic means Christmas celebrations have again been disrupted for children at school this year, although teachers have been doing their best to make the build-up to the festive period as enjoyable as possible for their classes.
Thanks to the efforts of school staff, we are able to show what children at ten schools in Epping Forest and East London have been doing in their classrooms during their festive lessons or performing in concerts and nativity plays.
The ten schools featuring in Christmas in the Classroom are:
- Braeside School
- Buxton School
- Coopersale Hall School
- Epping Primary School
- Kelmscott School
- Lime Academy Larkswood
- Mission Grove Primary School
- Normanhurst School
- Oaklands School
- St Antony’s Catholic Primary School
If you have a child, relative or friend at any of these schools, make sure you pick up your copy of Christmas in the Classroom in this week’s Guardian, on sale from tomorrow.
