Old Farm at the bottom of Friday Hill, Chingford Hatch c1936.
Believed to have been an inn back in the 16th century, the farm was owned by Robert Boothby (lord of the manor) and had many tenants over the centuries including Poulter's Dairy before it was demolished in the late 1930’s to make way for the LCC Friday Hill estate.
