A Waltham Forest man has been accused of kidnapping a woman and making threats to kill her.

Ahmed Ali has been charged with multiple offences against a woman which are alleged to have occurred in December last year and January.

These include threats to kill, kidnap, false imprisonment and two counts of assault thereby occasioning actual bodily harm.

The 29-year-old is also accused of having a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Ali, of Millfield Avenue, Waltham Forest, appeared at Thames’ Magistrates Court on February 2.

He is set to next appear in Wood Green Crown Court, with a provisional trial date set for March 1.
