A boy has been sentenced after being found with a machete.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was in possession of the offensive weapon in St Nicholas Court, E4, on September 19, 2021.
Stratford Magistrates’ Court heard he had the machete “without lawful authority or reasonable excuse”.
The boy pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon in a public place on February 2.
He was handed a seven month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £17.
