Two people from Waltham Forest who broke coronavirus rules have been fined more than £1,000.
Adrian Gherman and Denis Nistor both appeared at Tamside Magistrates’ Court following two seperate incidents in March 2021.
The court heard how Gherman, 44, contravened the requirement to book a Day 2 and Day 8 Covid-19 test at Luton Airport on March 1.
And on March 6, Nistor, 32, contravened the requirement to provide a Managed Quarantine Service booking reference at Luton Airport.
Gherman, of High Road Leyton, Waltham Forest, and Nistor, of Claude Road, Waltham Forest, were both fined £1,760.
But both must pay a total of £2,026 due to costs.
