This was the dramatic scene five years ago this week when a passer by captured a bus stop in Walthamstow on fire.
A dramatic photo caught the moment a bus stop went up in flames.
Allende Gonzalo captured the shocking scene as she walked by a bus stop in Wood Street, Walthamstow, become engulfed in flames.
The photo, taken just after 5pm on Tuesday, April 11, shows the blaze gutting a council bin as it rises up the bus stop's side, sending heavy grey smoke billowing up the road.
The London Fire Brigade was contacted for details.
