A BAKE sale in aid of Ukrainian refugees raised more than £600 last week.
Organised by the outpatients team at Queen’s Hospital and held on Thursday (April 7) the event was especially poignant for Ukrainian mum of two Inga Zamolynska, outpatient patient experience co-ordinator, who still has family in the war-torn country.
But since she first shared her story with us she has welcomed her mother Hanna, 73, safely to the UK.

Inga said: “She arrived last week and I am so relieved she is here and safe. I still have cousins in Ukraine, and they have people from Mariupol staying with them who are just in shock. I am so grateful to everyone who supported us.”
