A rare picture from c1900 of Ridgeway Cottage that once stood on The Ridgeway in North Chingford.
The cottage and other buildings were demolished in the late 1920s to make way for the new Town Hall and Fire Station as a result of the council outgrowing its shop in Station Road.
Today the building is part of a private housing development.
