It's five years ago this week since a group of school children had a surprise visitor for lunch.
Children at a Walthamstow primary school had a lunch break they will never forget when they were joined by England striker Harry Kane.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward visited Henry Maynard Primary School, in Maynard Road, ahead of England’s World Cup qualifier against Scotland at Hampden Park on Saturday.
Kane, who grew up in Chingford, shared lunch with a group of youngsters as part of a campaign run by England football team sponsors Lidl.
The Premier League golden boot winner said at the event he believes he has the leadership credentials to one day captain the national side.
England manager Gareth Southgate has left former captain Wayne Rooney out of the squad and is yet to name a replacement for the trip to Glasgow.
Kane said: "I see myself as one of the leaders now in the team and I'm looking forward to it," he said at a school event in Walthamstow in association with Lidl.
"I'm only 23 but I feel that there are a lot of younger players in the team compared to me and I have a good relationship with them.
“I have a good relationship with all the players, the older, the younger and there are quite a few Spurs boys in there as well.”
