Detectives investigating the murder of a rapper at a party have arrested a second person.
A 33-year-old man was taken into custody on Wednesday morning (June 8) by officers probing the death of Lamar Jackson.
Mr Jackson, 39, also known by his stage name Hypo, died after he was stabbed at a party in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green in the early hours of Friday June 3.
The rap artist from Hackney was seen to by emergency services but he died at the scene.
A post mortem examination carried out on June 4 confirmed the cause of death was 'sharp force trauma to the chest'.
The Metropolitan Police say the man arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of murder has been bailed until early July.
The Met confirmed on Monday (June 6) that Laurie John-Phillip, 32, from Enfield has been charged with Mr Jackson's murder and possession of a bladed article.
He appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on August 24.
Detectives from the Met's specialist crime command continue to investigate the circumstances and would like to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police.
Hundreds of people were at the event as it ended and police say many would have seen what happened.
Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, said: "Lamar’s family are grieving and need your help. If you saw anything, or managed to record the incident, then please call us. You can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and you don’t have to give your name and no one will ever know who you are.
