CAROLE Vincent has returned to community volunteering after a stint on Big Brother.
"The Lib Dems and Labour have run Waltham Forest council as a coalition for years.
"They claim that they are making a great success, but I see a different story.
"The waiting list for affordable housing has grown by thousands under this council whilst many are in sub-standard or over-crowded accommodation.
Care homes, services for the elderly, libraries - almost nothing has been safe from the council's big sell-off. Not content with giving Ascham Homes control of our housing, the latest Labour/Lib Dem scheme is to give international arms dealers Vosper Thorneycroft control of education.
"The only things that have not been cut are councillors allowances and the thousands of pounds wasted on management consultants.
"I think that services should be run to meet the needs of local people and not to make a profit for private companies.
"A vote for me is a vote to put people before profit."
