Associated Equipment Company (AEC) was a British vehicle manufacturer that built buses, motor coaches and trucks in Walthamstow.
How the scene looks today
The picture at the top of the page shows the Y type 3-ton lorry, of which more than 10,000 were produced for the First World War, in a convoy through Chingford.
