Thousands are anticipating the return of the iconic Notting Hill Carnival after taking a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Ahead of the festivities many people will be digging through their wardrobes to make sure they have the perfect outfit to join in with the party atmosphere. 

But there's one thing that you should always do when preparing for the big outdoor event that takes place in the UK.

Notting Hill Carnival weather forecast

Saturday, August 27:

You can expect warm temperatures with highs of 22C and lows of 17C, plus it will be a mix of sunshine and clouds, but best to bring your suncream along. 

There's going to be very little wind with gusts at just 12mph and the chance of rain is at its highest of 20% at 4pm. 

Sunday, August 28:

Sunday is much like Saturday with highs of 22C and lows of 14C, however, the sky will be overcast with not much sunshine after 10am. 

In terms of wind, it will be a bit stronger with highs of 18mph however the chance of rain isn't high at just 10%. 

Monday, August 29:

The bank holiday will see a mix of weather, with highs of 20C and lows of 14C, as well as the sky being overcast with a mix of dark clouds. 

Winds will be similar to Sunday with highs of 19C and chance of precipitation at 10%, however, it is set to be a bit humid so be prepared to get warm.
