POLICE have launched a murder hunt after one of the men shot outside a bar in Ilford on Saturday died in hospital this morning.
The man, thought to be in his mid-20s, was shot more than once along with a 37-year-old outside the Blue Ice bar in Cranbrook Road, Ilford just before 11.30pm on March 1.
The 37-year-old was shot in the back but is in a stable condition in hospital.
Police believe the killer, who was wearing a grey hoodie approached the men on foot before shooting them with a hand gun.
The road was sealed off by police for several hours, while officers from Operation Trident, which deals with black-on-black' gun crime in London, examined the scene.
