EPPING Forest MP Eleanor Laing has demonstrated her Scottish roots- by joining parliamentary Glasgow Rangers supporters club.
The Conservative MP is among MPs of all parties who are backing the Scottish Premier League club.
The Rangers Supporters Club at Westminster is chaired by former Defence Minister and avid Rangers fan Adam Ingram.
Members also include Jim Wallace, the former leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, and now a member of the House of Lords, and Democratic Unionist Gregory Campbell.
Mr Ingram, who worked alongside Celtic chairman John Reid at the Northern Ireland Office and the Ministry of Defence, told the official Rangers website: "We expect there to be more interest in the coming weeks. There are officers of the House, police officers and others who work for MPs. Anyone who works within the Palace of Westminster would be eligible to join."
