ROBBIE Keane has ordered his Spurs team mates to forget about Saturday's embarrasing 4-1 defeat at Birmingham and instead turn their attention to beating PSV tonight, writes James Randall.
The shocking result at St Andrew's came just a week after the club's impressive Carling Cup final defeat against Chelsea.
But Keane insists they must draw a line under it and now concentrate on getting a positive result agains the Dutch giants.
He told the club's official website: "You cannot change the past but you can change what is going to happen in the future. Saturday was not good enough against Birmingham but that has gone now.
"They were the better team on the day and full credit to them but if we want to become a top team we cannot be losing games in that way.
"We have to prove that Saturday was only a blip by doing things right against PSV."
Tonight's last-16, first leg clash is at White Hart Lane and Keane insists that Spurs must make home advantage count by registering a positive scoreline to take to Eindhoven for Wednesday's second leg.
"We need to get a good result to take to PSV next week," he insisted.
"They are a decent team and six points clear at the top of the Dutch league. They have a lot of experience in European competitions so it will be a tough game."
But he added: "We are professionals and we get paid to play the entire season. I hate losing matches.
"We are keen to win games in the Premier League as much as in the UEFA Cup in order to improve our league position."
