A LORRY driver is awaiting sentencing after admitting dangerous driving in relation to a fatal crash involving four lorries on the M25 at Waltham Abbey.
Johann Reimer, 38, from Germany, was summonsed following the collision which happened between junctions 26 and 25 on September 13, 2006, and led to the death of 37-year-old Markus Peeren, also from Germany.
A police spokesman said that following the summons for dangerous driving Reimer failed to appear at court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Police at the Port of Dover arrested Reimer at the end of February. He was remanded in custody when he appeared before Chelmsford magistrates and will be sentenced on Wednesday, March 19.
