CHINGFORD travel to Welwyn this weekend on the promotion trail and know that the prize is tantalisingly close.
The Waltham Wayer's currently lie joint second in London Two but sit third in the standings because of points scored.
Welwyn look to be eminently beatable on the basis oftheir own inconsistent form, and Chingford's ruthless streak which was displayed in their 49-0 thumping of London Nigerian last weekend could see them move back into the promotion places.
Welwyn succumbed to defeat at Eton Manor, and failed to score a single try. They have won two of the last five games, including a 17-11 home win over Nigerian.
Chingford emerged victorious in the last meeting between the two, they secured a 67-8 home win.
Chingford coach Phil Howell exhorted his teamto produce thenecessarywinning performancesat the sharp end of the season.
"With only four games left that we must win, promotion is still oncourse" he said."We must win every game, and if we do we will go up."
