PETERBOROUGH manager Darren Ferguson knows his table toppers are in for a tough afternoon against in-form Dagenham today.
The Daggers have climbed away from the foot of the table thanks to five straight wins in the league. But Posh are themselves in good form and a 2-0 victory at Barnet on Tuesday night sent them to the top of League Two.
"Dagenham are in fine form at this moment in time and have really pulled away from the relegation places, so we know it will be another difficult game but we are performing well away from home and we want to continue that on Saturday," Ferguson told the club's official website.
Daggers' Mark Arber and Peter Gain will be keen to beat their old club, while former Victoria Road favourite Craig Mackail-Smith is looking to end his recent scoring drought on his return. Ex-Dagger Shane Blackett is also expected to be in Posh's squad.
Ferguson will however be without the services of Kieran Charnock who has a knee injury, but the Peterborough boss is not reporting any fresh injury worries.
