SPURS skipper Ledley King believes there is no better way to return to winning ways than securing a derby day victory.
Tottenham go into today's clash with West Ham at White Hart Lane on the back of defeats against Birmingham and PSV, but King believes the north Londoners can come out on top this afternoon.
"It's a chance for us to get back to winning ways, a chance for us to close the gap on them and try to climb into the top half of the table," King told the clubs' official website.
"West Ham is always acracking fixture, there is a lot of banter between the fans and I know a lot of West Ham fans myself, so it's alwaysnice to put one over them!"
King also felt it was ideal to step back into action just athree days after the PSV defeat. "Especially being at home," he added. "And there is no better game than West Ham at home.
"If we can claw three points back on them it's ideal for us."
