MEDIA reports are suggesting that Spurs are keeping tabs on FC Schalke keeper Manuel Neuer.
Espanyol's Carlos Kameni is believed to be manager Juande Ramos' first choice, although he is thought to be monitoring Neuer as a potential back-up should a deal for his preferred option fall through.
Tottenham assistant Gus Poyet has already confirmed that they are tracking Kameni, with reports in Spain also claiming that talks may have already started with the Cameroon stopper.
But Neuer could be an option for the Spurs boss Ramos if that deal hits a hitch.
Scouts from the north London club would have been alerted by Neuer's inspired performance last week when he saved two penalties as Schalke progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Porto.
