Senrab A 0 Buckhurst Hill A 1
(Echo League U8s)

A WET windy afternoon on a muddy and bumpy pitch saw a good, solid away win for Hill's U8s A squad.

In the first half, despite having the run of play, Hill could not find the back of the net after plenty of chances.

Five minutes into the second half, a good build up from the back, through midfield and on to the forwards saw Kibblewhite strike a good, left-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net.

EMH A 0 Buchhurst Hill A 2
(Echo League U9s) THE first ten minutes were fought out in midfield which made the game quite even.

EMH were the first to put Hill under pressure when a great shot was well saved by man of the match, keeper Michael Corderoy.

Hill then started to get their passing game together.

Moyo Ajibade made some great runs and, after he was fed by a great ball from Oliver Williams, he outpaced the Emh defence before beating the keeper with a crisp shot.

Changes were made at the break and Hill soon increased their lead.

A decent shot from Ajibade was only parried and Olivelle was quick on the rebound to make it two nil.

From then on it was all Hill. Ryan Mooney went close with a couple of efforts.

In defence, Sammy Bradley and Victor Vincent had little to do in the second half but cleared up any loose balls and made some great tackles and interceptions.

Buckhurst Hill 2 Jets 1
(Echo League U13s) BUCKHURST Hill U13s' latest victory toppled Jets from the league leadership on Sunday.

Both sides meant business from the start as they battled for possession.

Hill's Young, Markatis and Parman controlled the midfield delivering some superb passes to tenacious Payne and Woodrow but the ball just wouldn't pass the goal-line.

Jets took an early lead and continued their advantage through to the second half.

Hill responded by applying the pressure and securing an equaliser from Woolward's left foot bullet of a shot.

Substitute McAleer, Gilchrist and Golding weaved their magic footwork to produce a golden goal from Golding.

Warrrior Whall justified his return at right back with a solid display of football that ensured him the man of the match award.

Thurrock 2 Ryan A 5

Hayes and O'Rourke in midfield were dominant for Ryan who increased their lead when Fuller flicked home a corner.

But, after heavy pressure, Thurrock scored.

However, Ryan ended a great move with Fuller's second goal followed shortly afterwards by Gough firing home to give the visitors a 4-2 lead at the break.

County Park 0 Snaresbrook Youth 2
(Chelmsford League U17) TABLE-topping Snaresbrook Youth left it until the final 20 minutes to score two goals, helping boost their chances of league glory this season.

They had a good chance with a free kick early on in the first half after the County Park keeper committed handball just outside his area.

Further strikes from Rob Caine, Drew Barbier, Sam Staniford and Jack Weaver all failed to find the back of the net.

County Park also had their chances too but were stopped by some excellent clearances by the Snaresbrook keeper Toby Smyth.

Well into the second half the match was still goal-less.

However, Snaresbrook suddenly began to shine and the superb Josh Woodcock got on the end of a header from team-mate Ricky Briggs to score a great goal.

Snaresbrook's trademark quality football then began to emerge and Ollie Young-Miles made it 2-0 with his first goal of the season, scored just moments after being brought on as a substitute.

Marshall Park 0 Weald Bassett 7
